If fully upgraded it also gives you a passive income (like 1000 or so gold every day).Usually I play this part as a permadeath character, because I'm just a simple farmer who doesn't know how to fight. So it becomes a challenge to just get to my farm in one piece -- and if I manage to make it there alive, it feels like a serious achievement. After that, I find I'm pretty happy to just settle down to a life of farming for awhile.
