Rant: I hate skull caverns. I just reset my day three times. I am still pretty noobish in my game. Use mushrooms for health, could only make like 30 bombs, no steps. But I went through the mines pretty easily. But the skull cavern is a whole other beast. I just died and reset my day after dying 3 times and losing 8+ items each time.Now you can play the game. If you don't mind the fighting then you can go back as often as you want/need to get resources. Some players get amazing hauls of iridium ore and prismatic shards, plus goodies from chests.
