Make sure you have healthy garrisons in all your settlements before you start. Other kingdoms will be more likely to war and conduct sieges if they think your towns are undefended. Your own kingdom sucks. I've probably put about 500+ hours in Bannerlord now and can say fairly safely that making your own kingdom sucks. It's never fun to do and it's tolerable to just join a kingdom, stay in it and not do anything. These are the things that have to change to make building your kingdom fun in my opinion.TMK the only way you can actually start your own kingdom at the moment is through the quest line you get at the start of the campaign. You can leave, and keep your territories, but you will be at war with the faction you left. It is really easy to pay them off for peace though. #1.
