Don't rev it or anything, just run it till it gets in the green on the gauge. Remove valve cover and plugs (plugs removal just makes turning the engine over easy) and repeat. The oil in my time was SAE 140. How much I do not recall but not a lot. 3. As to the transmission you should find a fill plug on the LH side of the housing that is used to fill the transmission.
