I do not hear the sound at idle. I have listened with my mechanics stethoscope and I can hear the ticking coming from the valve cover over cylinders 1-3.They adjusted the valves and replaced the valve cover gaskets and spark plug tube seals, they charged $79.14 for OEM parts and $528 for labor, for a total of $607.14. Meanwhile exhaust valves tend to stretch faster than there's wear, so get quieter before they get noisier. Until they start to burn, and at the same time risk cam damage. My engine is really quiet, always has been. I recommend some silicone grease (like Sil-Glyde or 3M silicone Paste) to help them into place. PS: Set your exhaust valves on the looser of the two settings. These Honda V6's usually wear the exhaust valveseats over time which makes the clearance get tighter as time goes by. The formula to convert metric mm to inches is 1inch == 25.4mm, exactly.
